Desert Wildflowers

When I left my house on Saturday morning it was snowing, but here I am in southern Arizona for my spring break, where at this time of year the daily high temperature is around ninety and the air smells of orange blossoms. This is also the time of year when all the desert wildflowers are in bloom – click on any tile below to bring up a slideshow with captions.

  1. Wow, so much gorgeous pink, yellow, and orange! It’s no longer snowing here in Connecticut, but I’m still starved for color… so thanks for spreading the desert brilliance! Also, I love that Hedgehog cactus. :D

  2. Lovely photos, Rebecca. I like the way you arranged them on the page. Glad you had a chance to see the desert bloom this year – heard it was forecasted to be pretty spectacular!

    1. Ha, actually WordPress does the arranging automatically. I just click on “tiled mosiac” and get a pretty gallery made for me by the computer. But thanks, and yes, the flowers here are gorgeous!
